A long-time favorite "who the f**k is that?" band of mine, known as Sinch just released their newest album, completely fan-funded. Called "Hive Mind," this album is (as of my first and 1/2 listen) a brilliant piece of work. It differs from their previous releases, but in that good, "we've grown up" way. It is still heavy, but much more subtle. It's like they are playing hard rock but with riffs and keys and notes that sound strangely happy/bluesy/fun.
